On November 19th, 2008 the House of Gucci officially launched its new Tattoo Hearts Collection with one quarter of the proceeds from it’s sale to go directly to UNISEF. Furthermore; officials at Gucci stipulated in the contract with UNISEF that those proceeds are to be earmarked specifically for assisting children affected by AIDS and HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa.

To insure the success of this most recent of Gucci’s philanthropic efforts, the House of Gucci has enlisted international pop sensation Rhianna as their official spokesmodel for the Collection. A red heart is emblazoned on each all white item in the collection that includes purses ranging in price from $595 – $4,995, as well as a number of shoes, a coin purse, a scarf, a cosmetic case, as well as a necklace.
