Söll in Austria

Söll is a community in the Austrian federal state of Tyrol and is located in the bowl of Leukental which is the border between the northern limestone alps and the schist mountains of the Kitzbühel alps. Together with its adjacent ski resort Wilder Kaiser it is amongst the most popular ski destinations in Austria. In winter Söll offers best conditions, especially for ambitious skier, families with little children as well as snowboarders and freeriders. In sumer the region is rather known for its stunning mountains with numerous hiking trails leading to the most beautiful viewing points of the region.
With rising numbers of over night stays Söll is amongst the aspiring tourism communities in Austria. Besides agriculture is still important. During the peak season there are many events taking place that are real highlights for visitors. For instance, there is the so calles „Z`sammakemma which is  kind of a farmer’s market where craftspeople show their traditional work. Another highlight is the   theme park Hexenwasser. It offers a barefoot trail, a witch forest, a game reserve and some water games.
Due to its geographic location of 47.3 degrees North and 12.12 degrees East in wonderful Leukental Söll and Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser can guarantee snow from December to April.
